Archiving Policy

Journal of Nesia Engineering Science (JNESc) is committed to the long-term preservation of, and permanent access to, everything it publishes, so that articles remain available to readers even if the journal ceases publication. JNESc applies the following arrangements:

1. LOCKSS

JNESc uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, built into Open Journal Systems, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. The journal's LOCKSS Publisher Manifest allows LOCKSS-enabled libraries to collect, preserve, and restore its content.

2. Metadata Harvesting and Indexing

Article metadata is openly available through the OJS OAI-PMH interface, allowing indexing services and digital libraries to harvest and preserve records of every published article.

3. Publisher Archiving

All published issues and articles are stored on the journal server managed by Yayasan AL-HABIIBAH Surabaya, with regular backups of the database and article files.

4. Author Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the submitted, accepted, or published version of their articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal websites, with full acknowledgement of first publication in JNESc and a link to the article page, in accordance with the Copyright Notice.
